Speaking of security, IDrive says its mobile backup app offers private key encryption, meaning only the user – and not IDrive - knows the key and can access the data transfer and store your files with 256-bit AES encryption using a user-defined key that is not stored anywhere on the servers.

It's not much to look at, but neither are most of the apps for cloud storage services. The interface is clean and easy to navigate through. In fact, IDrive is the only cross-platform and cross-device service that will let you backup and restore data from different platforms – therefore you can back up info and media, say, on an iPhone, and then restore it on an Android tablet, and vice versa.
